Everything these tools show is computed from published data. This page lists every series we use or plan to use, who publishes it, what that publisher's own terms allow us to do with it, and the source line the series has to carry when we show it.
We read each publisher's terms page ourselves and wrote down what it says. Where the terms do not answer a question, this page says so rather than guessing. It is a record of what we found, not legal advice.

Where a licence needs someone's written consent and we have decided not to ask for it, we use a free substitute instead. Those substitutes are named in the table. Where we are waiting on an answer, nothing computed from that series is published until it arrives.
None of these licences lets us imply that the publisher endorses us or our analysis, and none of the pages on this site does. A source line says where a number came from. It says nothing about who agrees with what we made of it.
